NATEC, Company Background
Who is NATEC? National Association of Tactical Educators and Consultants is a sole proprietorship, LLC company. The President and CEO is Phillip Jackson. The company was established in 2018 and its goal is to bring quality education to target audiences with the latest and most up to date information possible. NATEC realizes that we are living in an informational driven and ever evolving environment. This is especially apparent in the Public Safety arena where time is life. With more and more mass shootings and terroristic threats on the horizon to individuals and Public Safety, NATEC is focused on providing evidenced-based information and content in our classes. This is delivered by motivated and caring instructional personnel of different Public Safety disciplines, i.e. Law Enforcement, Fire, and EMS. We will only allow the most knowledgeable and motivated people to teach for NATEC and are constantly recruiting these individuals.
NATEC is made up of several instructors with both Military and SWAT backgrounds. NATEC originated from NAOTM, National Association of Tactical Medics, established in 2007 where we conducted Tactical Medical training for Private Security Defense Contractors and the Department of Defense. This limited the company and its liability to specific areas. As the need for consulting and more diversified training came about it became aperient that NAOTM needed to push forward with a new focus and the ability to meet the changing needs of Public Safety and SWAT with new courses and consulting. We teach TCCC and TECC both on military bases and in the civilian community along with several other courses. One of the most current courses coming out is RCTC, Remote Combat Trauma Care. This is specifically taught by NATEC and is intellectual Property/Domain both the acronym and information. NATEC teaches everything from tactical, medical, and land navigation training to Public Safety agencies as well as search and rescue teams. One of the current focuses is hospital-based training for emergency rooms and hospital personnel.
